About Us
The GPS Discovery is a collaborative project between professors and students in the Multimedia and Biology Department of California State University, East Bay. The Garin Walk is a spatially interactive experience using GPS devices that encourages users to contribute information and learn about the biology and ecology of the Garin Hills.
Matt
Matt is a civil engineer, and currently works in Oakland, CA. His experiences in engineering lead him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Multimedia and to use multimedia in engineering projects. His interests in multimedia and GPS are to find innovative ways to deliver information based on locations. Matt hopes to continue to create innovative projects after graduation.
Kristina
Kristina graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University. Her interests in web design and mass communications led her to pursue a Master Degree in Multimedia. After graduation, she hopes to work with sports and multimedia.
Adriana
Adriana currently resides with her family in Stockton CA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of the Pacific. Her interest for design and technology brought her to the bay to pursue a Master Degree in Multimedia. Prior to coming to the Ca State University East Bay, Adriana was very interested in artistic movements that inspired social changes.
